Position Summary

To gather and analyse institutional data and information in a timely and accurate manner. The incumbent is also responsible to develop periodic reports related to institutional effectiveness and performance to internal and external stakeholders.


Analyse and comprehend operational organizational goals and strategies and how they relate to own function.
Generate ideas which contribute to the development of functional goals.
Identify opportunities to enhance the implementation of operational goals.
Implement policies, procedures, processes and techniques for efficient and timely qualitative and quantitative data collection, analysis and interpretation.
Gather, validate, and analyse quantitative and qualitative data from HCT’s various functions and campuses in a timely, effective and efficient manner.
Compile data related to HCT’s percentage of attraction, retention and graduation of students across campuses and programmes.
Support with the development of HCT’s fact book which comprises of general information and data about HCT including but not limited to academic programmes, students, degrees conferred and facilities.
Support with the development of institutional reports to internal and external stakeholders as and when needed.
Conduct a periodical benchmarking exercise to compare HCT to similar local, regional and international peer institutions.
Develop and maintain an up-to-date, accurate and comprehensive institutional database including detailed qualitative and quantitative data and relevant analyses specific to HCT.
Support with the gathering and analysis of data, and the development of relevant reports related to accreditation.
Work closely with relevant functions and campuses across HCT to gather and provide data as and when necessary in a timely, effective and efficient manner; functions include, but are not limited to, Government Excellence, Knowledge Management, Registrar and Institutional Advancement.
Works closely with HCT functions, including, but not limited to, Registrar and Information Technology with the aim to improve data collection, storage, and reporting.
Support Accreditation in the accreditation and re-accreditation efforts through the compilation and analysis of data.
Adapt to the business continuation practices and approaches developed to protect and restore the organization’s resources and adjust best to the changing environment in times of any major change/ crisis to maintain a responsible and positive environment for the organization and the community as whole.

 

Requirements

Expereince

  • Minimum of three years of relevant work experience in Institutional Research or relevant field.


Qualifications

 

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required e.g. Computer Science, Statistics, Maths, Quality, Demography, Artificial Intelligence.
  • Full English proficiency is required. Arabic proficiency is desirable.
  • Intermediate computer literacy is required e.g. MS Office.
