Position Summary

The Coordinator - Finance provides support and coordination in the key areas of Finance, including Purchasing, Fixed Asset Management and Supplies, Budget Management, and Financial Reporting. The incumbent works closely with other academic and administrative units, particularly with Facilities, Admissions, and Human Resources. This position plays a key role in the planning and development of new systems and procedures, and in providing financial information and analysis to assist management in decision-making.


In support of Emiratization, HCT may exercise flexibility with the experience or education requirement in order to recruit UAE National candidates who show potential for success in the role.

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant discipline is required
  • A professional accounting designation (e.g. - CPA, CMA, CA) is desirable
  • A Master's Degree in a relevant discipline is desirable
  • A minimum 3 years of progressive work experience in Finance or Accounting
  • A demonstrated application of knowledge in areas pertaining to Budgeting, Managerial Accounting, and Cost Accounting
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with ERP packages, preferably Oracle-based systems (e.g. - Banner)
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Knowledge of Arabic is desirable but not a requirement
