Faculty members are responsible for providing effective instruction in the Pharmacy program. By using various learning methodologies that support a learning by doing philosophy, curriculum is taught to second language learners within a student-centric learning environment that fosters respect for students, their culture, and traditions. Faculty members play an important role in assisting with the development and preservation of system-wide and directorate-specific policies, and are viewed as active participants in academic and extra-curricular events at the College and within the community.

 In support of Emiratization, HCT may exercise flexibility with the experience or education requirement in order to recruit UAE National candidates who show potential for success in the role.

• A Master's Degree in Pharmacy (first degree, B.Pharm or D.Pharm)
• Preference are given for applicants with a PhD in Pharmacy or its interdisciplinary areas
• A minimum of 3 years of teaching/training experience in Pharmaceutical/Clinical Sciences, which may include teaching/training experience in related disciplines within relevant tertiary educational and various pharmaceutical industrial settings.
• Must be able to provide innovative and dynamic teaching/instruction at various levels within the program areas in a real/virtual classroom environment.
• Demonstrated experience in teaching and supervising our students at laboratory settings
• Current knowledge of modern approaches to tertiary pharmacy education, industry practices, trends and issues (specific knowledge of health care services and related education programs in the Middle East would be particularly advantageous)
• Overseas teaching/training experience in tertiary educational institutions to non-native English speakers is desirable
