The Student Services Coordinator works closely with the Student Services team in the colleges to support and promote innovative programs, services and partnerships aimed at student development and success. The incumbent ensures the development and implementation of best practices in Student Services teams in order to enhance student experiences. The Student Services Coordinator actively participates in the recruitment, training and supervision of student services team across college, and ensures that staff members display a high degree of maturity and sensitivity when dealing with students.

In support of Emiratization, HCT may exercise flexibility with the experience or education requirement in order to recruit UAE National candidates who show potential for success in the role.

• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline is required
• A Master's Degree in a relevant discipline is desirable
• A minimum 5 years of experience working with students in an educational environment, preferably within a tertiary institution
• Previous experience one of the following areas: counseling and student activities, student recruitment, health and wellness, and/or student development
• A high degree of computer literacy and demonstrated ability to integrate technology in the workplace
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated competency to interact with people at all levels of the organization
• The ability to deal professionally with matters of a confidential or sensitive nature
• Highly developed organizational, analytical and problem solving skills are required
• The ability to work effectively as a team member in a multi-cultural environment
• Experience working with Banner Student Records Management Systems or other related information systems is highly desirable
• Student counseling experience is desirable
• luency in written and spoken English and Arabic is essential
