Position Summary

 The Senior Specialist - Performance Management is responsible for supporting the design, implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of HCT’s Performance Management System across functions and campuses. The incumbent supports the development and maintenance of performance management processes, appraisal cycles, competency frameworks, reporting, and employee engagement initiatives to promote a fair, transparent, and performance-driven culture.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of HCT’s Performance Management System in alignment with organizational objectives and HR best practices.
  • • Assist in maintaining and updating HCT’s competency framework in coordination with functions and campuses.
  • • Coordinate and administer the annual performance appraisal cycle across functions and campuses, ensuring timely completion of all activities.
  • • Prepare and maintain performance management forms, templates, process documentation, communications, and guidelines.
  • • Monitor appraisal submissions and follow up with functions and campuses to ensure compliance with timelines and procedures.
  • • Provide first-level support to employees and line managers regarding performance management processes, policies, and system-related queries.
  • • Assist in developing tools, user guides, and support materials to facilitate effective implementation of the appraisal process.
  • • Support the collection, consolidation, and analysis of performance appraisal data and prepare periodic reports and dashboards.
  • • Coordinate with HR stakeholders and campus HR teams to ensure consistency in performance management practices.
  • • Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities and support automation initiatives in collaboration with IT and relevant stakeholders.
  • • Support communication and awareness initiatives that promote a culture of continuous feedback and performance excellence.
  • Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to junior team members and newly joined staff when required.
  • • Contribute effectively to team objectives and support collaborative working relationships across functions and campuses.
  • • Support initiatives related to the development and engagement of UAE Nationals.

 

Requirements

 Qualifications


• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required e.g. Human Resources, Business Administration.
• Full English proficiency is required.
• Intermediate computer literacy is required e.g. MS Office, MS Project, Banner, and HR systems.


. Experience
• Minimum of three years of relevant work experience in Human Resources, preferably in Performance Management, Talent Management, or HR Operations.
• Experience in coordinating HR processes, preparing reports, and supporting organization-wide initiatives is preferred.
