Position Summary

Job Objective

HCT’s Analyst - Strategy and Institutional Performance is responsible for supporting in the implementation of HCT’s strategy in line with the UAE’s government direction and international good practices in Higher Education. He/she conducts research, benchmarking exercises and analysis in order to provide Manager – Strategy Development with input required to make informed decisions. Furthermore, he/she develops material to ensure HCT’s strategy is properly and consistently communicated across all functions and campuses.Main Responsibilities

Support with the implementation of HCT’s Strategy, Future and Institutional Performance policies, procedures and processes.

Support in periodic strategy review and contribute to the identification of prioritised portfolio of strategic initiatives which are required to support the delivery of HCT’s system-wide strategy.

Produce clear and comprehensible reports, with regards to strategy initiatives, challenges, suggestions and contingency plans, to aid leadership and relevant stakeholders make informed decisions about next steps.

Conduct benchmarking exercises to position HCT against peer organisations at the local, regional and international levels with regards to Higher Education and support Manager - Strategy Development in identifying strategy improvement opportunities for HCT.

Conduct research activities around the impact of governmental initiatives, Higher Education trends, etc. on

HCT’s strategy; findings will provide input into the development and refresh of HCT’s system-wide strategy.

Perform data analysis of research data, including historical data, Higher Education trends, etc. in order tosupport the Manager - Strategy Development in presenting efficient strategical recommendations to relevant stakeholders.

Develop communication material to support the communication efforts around HCT’s strategy.

Support with the evaluation of institutional performance against HCT’s strategy.

Support in the planning and follow-up of remedial actions based on the inputs provided by HCT leaders regarding challenges or suggestions related to the development of their functional strategies. 

Requirements

Qualifications

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required e.g. Business.

Full English proficiency is required.

Intermediate computer literacy is required e.g. MS Office.

Experience

Three to four years of relevant work experience in Strategy or relevant field.
