JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: ERP Consultant – Human Capital Management (HCM)
DEPARTMENT/DIRECTORATE: DIGT
 
POSITION OBJECTIVE
To consult and support all stakeholders during the different stages of ERP planning & implementation; such as, but not limited to the stages of gathering requirements, designing of the planned ERP, setting criteria to assess the quality of planned ERP, contributing in the system technical and functional development, consulting during the configuration of various functions and modules, etc. The Consultant shall continue to support after the stage of “go-live” for the development of new requirements/functions/add-ons/changes and their corresponding implementation, maintenance, support and quarterly upgrades and reports.
 
Main Responsibilities

Strategic Role

Think beyond short term objectives to consider the broader vision and strategic goals to enhance ERP functional and technical implementation operation and utilization
Support in cascading the overall functional strategy into operational goals that can contribute in HR digital transformation
Facilitate the achievement of strategic objectives by fostering processes automation as per to standards
Expedite quality of ERP operations, development, changes support and utilization

Operational Role


Provide functional consulting services by acting as subject matter expert and leading clients through the entire systems development lifecycle
Identify business requirements and map them functionally to Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials, Oracle Projects and cross functional modules
Conduct functional and technical design workshops for existing and new business requirements
Undertake assessments and technical design workshops for existing and new business requirements
Lead and mentor bbusiness user interaction for requirement capturing, CRP Sessions, Task/Item completion, Phase Exit presentations, sign offs for new enhancements, implementations and roll-outs
Work as a Subject matter expertise within the Oracle Fusion ERP Data Domain including but limited to :-
a. HCM,
b. Payroll,
c. Absence management,
d. Goal Management Performance Management and appraisal,
e. Human capital planning,
f. Self Service
g. Recruitment
h. Etc
Work as a Subject matter expert on all reporting tools including but not limited to BIP, OTBI and custom reports
Advise client on options, risks, and any impacts on other processes or systems
Configure the Oracle Cloud Applications and document application set-ups
Write business requirement documents for reports, interfaces, data conversions and application extensions
Define, lead and document testing scenarios and develop test scripts
Support end users with the execution of test scripts
Develop end-user documentation and training materials
Deliver end-user training
Effectively communicate and drive projects deliverables
Work closely with other peers responsible for developing reports, interfaces, data conversion programs, and application extensions
Share knowledge to continually improve implementation methodology
Plan, lead, and implement quarterly upgrade on time manner

Leadership Role

Undertake architecture design workshops for existing and new business requirements.
End users mentoring and training.

QUALIFICATIONS

A minimum of Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required such as, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Management Information System or related field.

Certified Accountant preferably with a combination of a bachelor's degree in IT or related field.

EXPERIENCE

· Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a functional lead role.

· Must have minimum of three (3) complete implementations as a functional consultant.

· Fusion HCM Certification preferred.

· Minimum five (5) years' experience with at least three (3) Fusion Projects.

· Hands-on experience with Fusion release 9 or higher.

· Broad knowledge and deep domain experience within the Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP products.

· Expertise in documentation of various stages of fusion cloud methodology.

· Mandatory in-depth experience with Payroll and Human Capital Management.

· Experience is preferred in at least 2 of the following modules: Oracle Cloud experience Time &Labor, Goal Management, Recruiting, Performance and Compensation.

· Upgrade and implementation experience.

· Ability to work on all project phases: Project Preview, Fit/Gap Analysis, Configuration and Testing

· Oracle Cloud HCM hands-on experience in at least two or more modules: Core HCM (Human capital management ) (Mandatory), Time & Labor, Absence Management, Goal Management, Benefits, Global Payroll, Global Payroll Interface, Performance Management, Talent Review and Succession Management, Workforce Compensation.

· Prior experience in leading HCM Production Support/implementations/upgrade projects on Oracle HCM Cloud.

  • Expertise in end users' engagement from initiation, requirements gathering, CRP ( Customer room Pilot) , UAT ( Users acceptance testing) , migration, training, transition and support.

· Expert in preparation of configuration workbooks, user's manuals, design document, test scripts...etc.

· Documentation Preparation & Workshop.

· Full English and Arabic proficiency is required.
