Reporting to the Associate Dean of Engineering, the Program Chair is responsible to ensure the effective and efficient development and operation of the Engineering programs. The College offers Diploma, Higher Diploma and Bachelor programs in Mechanical Engineering Technology. Most of the programs are sponsored by the local industry such as Abu Dhabi Shipbuilding and Emirates Steel. The Program Chair will be responsible for monitoring the day-to-day operations of the programs including maintaining procedures related to student enrollment and educational development, management of faculty and staff, and to maintain control and follow-up of division budgets and line accounts.

* A Masters Degree in Engineering. Applicants should have a specialization relating to Electronics or Mechatronics, Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical (Instrumentation / Process Control).
* Ph.D. in a related area with current research record, preferred.
* Minimum of 3 years experience at a supervisory level.
* Minimum 3 years relevant teaching/training experience.
* 3 years practical experience in a relevant commercial/industrial environment.
* Instructional materials and curriculum development experience is desirable.
