The Library and Learning Center Supervisor leads the Library & Learning Centre staff in promoting, developing and delivering services that enhance and support the teaching and learning objectives as specified within the college’s strategic plan. The incumbent is manages the Library & Learning Centre facility and resources, participates in the development of system-wide policies and procedures, and represents the Library & Learning Centre within the college and at local and national forums. This position will be supervising CERT libraries and staff, which are modeled after the HCT's Library and Learning Centres.

• A Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA accredited institution or equivalent
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in management position at a Library & Learning Centre, preferably within an educational setting
• A minimum 5 years of experience as a Librarian
• Extensive knowledge of information technology applications
• Experience in planning and advancing the use of educational technologies and the electronic delivery of information
• The ability to work effectively as a team member in a multi-cultural environment
• Demonstrated leadership, planning, organizational, and team-building skills
• Ability to manage staff and projects across multiple sites
• Fluency in written and spoken English is essential
