The Facilities Coordinator supports the college through the provision of professional services related to facilities matters, including the planning and construction of new facilities, retrofits to existing facilities, and routine civil and electro-mechanical maintenance. As the primary liaison between contractors and college management, the incumbent works to ensure the smooth and effective handover on all facility projects. The Facilities Coordinator advises on facilities-related matters at both an operational and strategic level.

In support of Emiratization, HCT may exercise flexibility with the experience or education requirement in order to recruit UAE National candidates who show potential for success in the role.

• A Bachelor's Degree specializing in Architecture or Engineering (Civil, Electrical or Mechanical) or other related field is required
• Must maintain a professionally-recognized Engineering, Architectural, or related license or designation
• A minimum 5 years of progressive experience within a facilities role
• Experience managing multiple service contracts and external contractors working on site
• Ability to prepare construction proposals both manually and using AutoCAD
• Broad based knowledge of all phases of commercial building design, construction, operation and maintenance
• Demonstrated practical site supervision experience is required
• Experience in a role overseeing preventative maintenance for a variety sanitary, electrical and air conditioning equipment
• Experience working with comprehensive master plan projects is desirable
• Experience working with contractors and government agencies in the Middle East is preferred
• Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) experience is desirable
• Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Knowledge of Arabic is desirable but not a requirement
