Position Summary

The Manager Talent Acquisition is responsible for overseeing the effective operation and development of Recruitment services. The incumbent leads the department in championing corporate initiatives and human resource management practices that facilitate international recruitment and retention strategies. The Manager advocates the continued advancement of technology and human processes in order to improve the reliability and cost-effectiveness of the recruitment process.

In support of Emiratization, HCT may exercise flexibility with the experience or education requirement in order to recruit UAE National candidates who show potential for success in the role.

  • A Master's Degree or post-graduate qualification in Human Resources, or other relevant discipline
  • A recognized professional HR designation, such as CIPD, CHRP or SHRP is desirable
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years spent in a supervisory/leadership role
  • A high degree of computer literacy and demonstrated experience working with sophisticated recruitment tools, including e-recruitment
  • Experience working with an ERP system or other recruitment software is preferred
  • Current knowledge of industry practices, trends and issues
  • Superior interpersonal skills as demonstrated by the ability to form professional relationships at all levels within the organization and with appropriate external stakeholders
  • Experience managing contracts with suppliers of recruitment services
  • Experience with manpower planning, organizational design and job evaluation
  • Highly developed organizational, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong management or leadership skills as exhibited by experience in effectively leading a team and/or chairing committees
  • Flexible with the ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Familiarity with psychometric testing and other assessment tools
  • Experience in budget planning and implementation would be advantageous
  • Overseas work experience within a multi-cultural environment would be advantageous
