Position Summary

The Student Services Officer provides administrative services and assists in the effective development and operation of Student Services at the college. As the first point of contact in Student Services, the Student Services Officer provides reception services within the department which includes assisting with admissions, student behavior cases, security issues related to students, public relations initiatives, recruitment projects, and providing general information related to Student Services. The incumbent supports college advancement activities by assisting in the organization and promotion of student events and conferences.

 

Requirements

In support of Emiratization, HCT may exercise flexibility with the experience or education requirement in order to recruit UAE National candidates who show potential for success in the role.

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or other relevant discipline is required
  • A minimum of 3 years related experience in an educational setting or equivalent
  • A high degree of computer literacy and demonstrated ability to integrate technology in the workplace
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated competency to interact with people at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent client relations skills
  • A detail-oriented approach that delivers consistently high-quality services to deadline within a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to perform a variety of tasks of a confidential nature in a diplomatic fashion
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required. Fluency in written and spoken Arabic is required
