The Student Services Supervisor is responsible for establishing and maintaining effective support services within all relevant areas of Student Services. The incumbent leads the department by providing oversight of all relevant programs and service lines, and works closely with peers across the system to coordinate and standardize services within the division.  The post-holder coordinates with other college directorates to develop, implement and enhance student services functions across the system.

• A Master's Degree in a relevant discipline is required
• A minimum of 10 years of related work experience, with at least 3 years of supervisory/leadership experience relevant to Student Services
• Previous experience in at least 2 of the following areas: counseling and student activities, student recruitment, health and wellness, and/or student development
• Demonstrated understanding of how educational policies are organized to guide student learning
• Thorough understanding of student life initiatives
• A high degree of computer literacy and demonstrated ability to integrate technology into the workplace
• A demonstrated understanding of current practices, trends and issues within Student Services areas
• Superior interpersonal skills as demonstrated by the ability to form professional relationships at all levels within the organization and with appropriate external stakeholders
• Highly developed organizational, communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong management or leadership skills as exhibited by experience in effectively leading a team and/or chairing committees
• Experience with the Banner Student Records Management System or other related information systems is highly desirable
• Experience in budget planning and implementation would be advantageous
• Overseas work experience within a multi-cultural environment would be advantageous
