Position Summary

The Career Advisor role within the Career Development and Employer Relations is tasked in guiding and advising new and current students and alumnae on career development and career management skills. They work closely with the relevant academic departments and colleagues to integrate career awareness into the academic programs of the college. They also work with the Graduate Placement Advisor in providing service to employers for recruitment purposes such as handling vacancies, meeting with employers to market students and graduates.

Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Career Guidance, Academic Counseling, Career Development or a similar field.
  • A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in career guidance.
  • Ability and willingness to interact personally with a wide range of employers and employees in the UAE Private Business sector
  • IT & multimedia skills
  • Familiar with the culture of the work environment in the UAE
  • High level of organization and time management skills
  • 3 years teaching experience in classroom or workshop settings is desirable
