A Graduate Faculty of Business is committed to delivering high quality teaching for graduate Business programs. The faculty member is responsible for leading the college and division in research work in the relevant specialist field both at a basic research level and applied research as needed by the UAE industry and community. The incumbent is also expected to play an active role in the maintenance of curriculum in this specialization to international academic standards and relevance. By using various learning methodologies that support a learning by doing philosophy, curriculum is taught to second language learners within a student-centric learning environment that fosters respect for students, their culture, and traditions. Faculty members play an important role in assisting with the development and preservation of system-wide and directorate-specific policies, and are viewed as active participants in academic and extra-curricular events at the College and within the community.

   
• A Doctoral Degree in Business or a relevant discipline
• A minimum of 8 years of teaching/training experience, with at least 5 of those years spent teaching at a postgraduate level
• Minimum 3 years industry experience
• Proven expertise within the subject area and the potential to expand one's knowledge in order to teach a broad curriculum
• Experience in developing course curriculum as per accreditation and international standards
• The ability to sustain an interest in and enthusiasm for an area of specialist research and to impart this to students and peers
• Effective presentation skills, both theoretical and practical
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated competency to interact with people at all levels of the organization
• A high degree of computer literacy and demonstrated ability to integrate technology into the learning environment and teaching methodology
• Current knowledge of industry practices, trends and issues
